Seedance 2.0 Fast is the quicker, lower-cost version of ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 video model. On Seedance Studio it makes silent 5 or 10 second clips from text or a starting image at 480p or 720p for 80 credits per second, so a 5-second draft costs 400 credits. Use it to test ideas, then render the final shot with Seedance 2.5.
Drafts cost less than with Seedance 2.5 or 2.0, at any resolution.

Seedance 2.0 Fast is a speed-optimized variant of Seedance 2.0. It follows the same prompts and supports the same inputs, but renders silent clips at 480p or 720p and costs less per second, which makes it the practical choice for exploration.
Most good AI videos take a few attempts. Running those attempts with Fast keeps the cost down: four 5-second drafts cost 1,600 credits with Fast, compared with 2,000 credits with Seedance 2.5.
Once the prompt, camera move and format work, switch the model to Seedance 2.5 and render the final clip with sound at up to 1080p.
